These cute Halloween snacks will be a huge hit, and they are sure to become requested family favourites for years to come. Who knows – maybe some of these snacks will become part of the Halloween traditions you see your kids carry on to their own families someday!
Halloween is the favourite holiday of many kids, and for good reason. They get to dress up and “be” whomever or whatever they would like for a day (A superhero? The Staypuft Marshmallow Man? Lime Jell-O? The possibilities are endless…). Plus, they get to collect obscene amounts of candy that should last for months but usually only lasts a week. The biggest bummer about Halloween is that it is only one day. The anticipation of Halloween, however, can last the entire month of October.
Halloween Snacks
One of my favourite ways to celebrate the month of October is with special snacks that I make in the theme of the holiday such as this Halloween Puppy Chow. Think of the excitement on your child’s face as they open their lunchbox to find an adorable spider cookie or pumpkin sucker waiting to be their dessert. Or the warm, cozy feeling as you share a “cauldron” of hot cider with them as you discuss the details of the day.
