With pink frosting and bright red accents, this Valentine’s Day cake with white cake and vanilla buttercream frosting is actually easy to make at home.
There are all kinds of different approaches to make a valentine’s day cake. Many Valentine’s Day cakes are decadent chocolate desserts full of deep rich cocoa and other flavours from caramel, to coconut. The trouble with chocolate is that while it can be as beautiful as it takes, it often lacks the pizzazz that you can invoke with other flavours. Vanilla cake has a reputation for being boring. Yet it’s essential as that blank canvas that affords you the creativity to pull off something as eye-catching. Something as surprising as a Valentine’s Day cake full of cinnamon flavour and topped with sprinkles, candy, marshmallow sticks, and chocolate!

Bright, Attractive, Visual Appeal
The Valentine’s Day candy toppers burst from the cake in bright red tones reminding you of your favourite hot cinnamon-flavoured candy. No matter who you are making this Valentine cake for, it’s perfectly appropriate. It’s got a wow factor, it’s tasteful, it’s just as good for friends as couples and for valentines of all ages.
Easy Valentine’s Day Cake With Cinnamon Flavour
The best thing about making this easy Valentine’s Day cake is that it all starts with a boxed mix. You mostly just have to follow our instructions below on how to make the Valentine’s Day Cake; however, this cake has a hidden surprise. The cake itself will have a cinnamon flavour to it. The candy on top looks like red hots, but the real spice comes from the cake. The cake toppers in the frosting are made of rock candy and marshmallows. The flavour-packed inside with the jaw-dropping pink frosting and bright red candy make for a presentation your valentine will never forget.

Candy Toppers
The cake almost serves as an ornate basket for the premade candy nestled in the centre. It’s a dazzling third layer that is just as easy to put together as the cake. You don’t have to be an award-winning cake decorator. The toughest part is making the frosting, but even that is really easy and with a small amount of piping practice, you will rock this cake for Valentine’s Day.
