Valentine’s Day Rice Krispie Pops Recipe

Tips For Making the Rice Krispie Pops

Another great tip is to use coloured Rice Krispie cereal when making these. You can now find a strawberry flavour that would make this Rice Krispie Pops recipe even cuter. You could also use the chocolate flavour, if your kids really like chocolate.

If you want to get even more creative, consider cutting these into heart shapes using a cookie cutter. Insert the stick at the bottom of the hearts and then dip in chocolate. You can make these as big or small as you like.

Valentine’s Day Rice Krispie Pops Recipe

Makes 30-40 pops

Ingredients

  • 6 cups Rice Krispie cereal
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 – 225 g bag of white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup of Valentine’s sprinkles
  • 30 lollipop sticks

How To Make The Rice Krispie Pops

1.Spray a 9 x 13 inch pan with cooking spray.

2. In a large pot, melt butter on medium heat.

3. Add marshmallows and stir frequently until melted.

4. Remove from heat and mix in Rice Krispie cereal.

5. Pour cereal mix into 9 x 13 pan.

6. Using a piece of parchment paper over the top, push mixture into the pan.

7. Refrigerate the pan for about an hour.

8. Cut Rice Krispie bars into small 1 inch squares.

10. Add a lollipop stick to each.

11. Melt chocolate on 30 second intervals in the microwave, stirring well in between.

12. Dip Rice Krispie pops into the melted chocolate, add sprinkles, and place onto parchment paper.

13. Place the pops in the refrigerator for about an hour to set.

  2. These would be great to make for anytime of year I think. It would be easy to change up the decorations for other holidays like Easter too.
