Frankenstein‏ Halloween Craft and Snack For Kids

Halloween is a fun time for kids, they get to dress up in costumes and go door to door collecting treats. To kick off the season check out this Frankenstein Halloween craft and healthy snack for kids.

When the days get shorter, the nights are longer, the air is cooler. This means that we are nearing the autumn season and all the fall fun that it brings. With the cooler air, it is more enjoyable to get outside and spend time with friends and family. There are many fun things to do like apple picking, visiting pumpkin patches and getting ready for Halloween.

Frankenstein Halloween Craft

Frankenstein is supposed to be a creepy and possibly scary character during Halloween. When we have small kids that get scared easily, we try to make it fun and enjoyable so there are no tears. Involving the kids in the projects will make it more fun. If you plan on making the Frankenstein Halloween craft, why not do a few other crafts at the same time. Healthy Halloween Recipe

Making healthy snacks for Halloween is easy with fruits and vegetables. There are so many fun and creative ways to incorporate them into your Halloween theme. Bananas can be made into ghosts, oranges can be pumpkins or make a skeleton with a variety of vegetables.

Most of the treats the kids will get when Trick or Treating is candy or chocolate with very few if any healthy Halloween treats. This Frankenstein snack is quick and easy to make using grapes.

Frankenstein‏ Halloween Treats

You will only need a few simple craft supplies and 3 ingredients to make the Frankenstein‏ Halloween Craft. You can purchase them at the grocery and dollar stores to get these going.

This Frankenstein‏ Halloween Craft and Snack‏ is easy to make and will surely please your kids! 

Craft and food Supplies:

  • Clear plastic cups
  • Electrical tape
  • Green grapes
  • Marshmallows
  • M&M’s
  • Scissors

How to Make The Frankenstein Craft

1. Wrap a piece of electrical tape around the rim of the clear plastic cup. 

2. Next, you are going to layer a second piece of tape on the cup. But for this piece, cut some jagged areas and some fringe to give your Frankenstein a hair-do.  

3. Wrap the tape around just under the first piece of tape.  

4. Wash you grapes. Fill the glass half-way with grapes. 

5. Cut a marshmallow in half. Be careful not to cut all the way through. On the sticky side of the marshmallow stick on two M&M eyes.

6. Put the marshmallow eyes into the cup.

7. Fill the remaining areas of the cup with green grapes.

8. Using electrical tape, cut a small piece to make the mouth and stitches.
