I love to make this Gingerbread Cookie Smoothie as an afternoon snack for myself and the family. It is a delicious way to hold yourself over until dinner, and it has such a naturally sweet and properly spicy flavour that you won’t feel like you are missing out on a snack when you have this over an actual cookie! If you like smoothies for breakfast, this is the perfect one to make this month! It will fuel you with oats and bananas to start the day on the go while keeping you full until lunch.

No matter when you make this recipe, I am sure you will enjoy it just as much as my family has! It is one of our holiday classic recipe and I make it frequently in the month of December. This is a holiday smoothie recipe to share with the kids, who will love having an after school snack option that they can whip up in just a moment of time.

Optional Ingredients

If you have a gluten sensitivity, make sure you use a certified gluten free rolled oat brand. The spices I used make the ideal blend of gingerbread flavour. I recommend sticking as close to the recipe as possible for the best flavour.

  4. I am learning to just say yes to what I actually want to do and will enjoy. No more “doing what I think other people want me to do!”

  5. This sounds different! Both the spices and the oats aren’t ingredients I would have thought to use in a smoothie but I am definitely curious to try this.
