ingredients for breakfast smoothie
- ½ cup frozen strawberries
- ⅓ cup pineapple chunks
- ⅓ cup fresh spinach
- ⅛ cup shredded coconut flakes
- ¾ cup pineapple juice
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
- ¼ cup vanilla almond milk
Directions for the Island Smoothie
- Add the pineapple chunks to the blender cup.
- Next add the spinach and strawberries.
- Sprinkle coconut flakes and ground flaxseed onto strawberries.
- Pour the pineapple juice, then the almond milk over the mixture.
- Blend until smooth, and enjoy!
Optional: If the smoothie is not your desired thickness, add ice cubes and blend again.

This is quite refreshing, I have never added juice to a smoothie before, usually just water or plant based milk.
Sounds healthy and delicious but leave out the coconut not a fan.
