How to Tell Time – A lift-the-flap guide to telling time

This book is so colourful and interactive! We love lift the flap books, kids just love opening every little flap to discover what surprise is looking underneath. There is even a great big interactive clock on the cover to play with that has moving hands – talk about making learning fun.

This interactive book teaches kids the basics of telling time and in an engaging interesting way.

Not only does it teach you how to measure time using seconds, minutes and hours but it also dives into the days, months, and years. DK did a great job with this fun learning tool that makes my children actually want to learn how to tell time!

My eldest son Jax has become OBSESSED with wrestling recently. He loves watching it, playing wrestling video games, and his room now even is decorated in WWE. Naturally, when I saw these Level 2 learn to read wrestling book, I knew Jax would be so excited. Granted, he’s not reading yet, but for now I can read it to him which is still always a great experience for little ones and he can grow with it. He was happy to hear that two of his favourites were featured in the book, John Cena, and The Rock, of course. These DK Learn to read books are developed in consultation with leading literacy experts and help kids learn to read with topics that they find fun.

How to Win in the Ring

To our delight there was more than just one Level 2 reader Wrestling book! How to win in the ring provides 3 books in 1. Jax enjoyed finding out about what it takes to become a wrestler, how much training is involved, and so on. Not as easy as it looks, and of course since he wants to be a WWE champion he definitely needs to know all this.

Born and raised in Ottawa, I’m a wife and mom of two beautiful toddler boys that keep me busy having fun at home and running all over the city exploring new adventures. I studied Communications and Marketing at Carleton University which led me to a Marketing career in the Shopping centre and Real estate industries. That led me to selling homes. I’m currently employed in my hardest and most rewarding role of all, as a Stay at home mom. I love being a mom and am a huge kid at heart, hence why I love taking my kids to everything and experiencing all that this city has to offer. I’m fun loving, love shopping, reading, and watching movies. I also am a dog lover and have a beautiful German Shepherd Nika.

  1. My favorite little man would love the How to Tell Time – A lift-the-flap guide to telling time. He loves any book that’s interactive and really enjoys learning. I have many kids in my life but none of my own.

  2. I’d love to win How to tell Time for my kids. My daughter is interested in learning how to tell time right now so it’s so timely. thanks

  3. My granddaughter loves The Wrestling so she would enjoy the MEET THE CHAMPIONS. My mother had a crush on John Cena. She passed last year at the age of 88. Wrestling always reminds of her me and puts a smile on my face. She use to call me to check the TV guide to let her know the Wrestling Schedule.

  4. I would read How to Tell Time with my daughter because she loves lift-the-flap books and could probably start trying to tell time.
