All Aboard With Thomas & Friends Toys – Review

My little boys LOVE trains and train sets! I mean, doesn’t every child? I don’t know what it is about them! Even when we visit the Canadian Museum of Science and Technology in Ottawa, every single time we end up spending so much time at the train table they have set up in the Train section. When we were asked to review some Thomas And Friends toys, we couldn’t say no!

Thomas & Friends™ TrackMaster™ Percy 6-in-1 Set

First, we cracked open the Thomas & Friends™ TrackMaster™ Percy 6-in-1 Set. As soon as my little ones saw the packaging there was no way we were going to put this task off. My husband cleared the play mat and made room for this awesome track set and the boys helped click all the pieces together and had a blast helping out. What’s great about this set is that you can create SIX different layouts to keep the kids interested and engaged. Anything that keeps them off the screens is a huge win for me and this has already provided hours of entertainment. What’s more is that it expands! You can buy other TrackMaster™ sets and interchange and expand them!

The Thomas & Friends™ TrackMaster™ Percy 6-in-1 Set comes with one motorized Percy train, but we were also given 3 others to add to our set – making this even more entertaining for my boys. These additions to the set feature everyone’s favourite characters from the TV show and make great additions to your little one’s collection. My guys loved having all the trains “chasing each other” and racing! Just don’t forget to have your 2AAA batteries ready, which are needed per train! Good thing Shoppers Drug Mart is a close drive to us!

We already had some of the Thomas & Friends™ MINIS, so we were super happy to acquire more to add to our collection. With over 80 to collect, we have a ways to go! Each single blind pack contains one MINIS engine whose identity is a mystery. Kids LOVE mystery surprise packs and they make a great affordable surprise treat when you’re at your local Walmart. My kids fell in love with these little trains that connect to each other when we were at a playdate, and our little friend had his own collection. Since they are so tiny they are easy to transport to take in the car, plane, or, of COURSE, train! And to bring on playdates or grandma’s house with little fuss.

  2. I love how the TrackMaster expands with the purchase of other layouts and the Minis how portable, my grandson could bring some while he visited.

  6. I love that the track set can be arranged in different ways. My son loves trains, he has a wooden travel set but its track is fixed. He would love playing with this train set.

    We had a blast recreating scenes from the show with the Thomas the Tank Engine And Friends trains and track sets
    both at his house and ours. We all enjoyed countless hours of fun playing with them.

  11. I like the bright colours of the cars and how the tracks can be built and changed. This set is great for imaginary play and multiple children can enjoy it as they work together.

  19. I like the quality, colours and size of the toys and that they fit perfectly in a children’s hand. On the cartoon, Thomas talks just like a real child.

  37. My daughter is also a big fan of trains and when the trains were still going, we would time our walk to a train crossing area near us just to watch them and wave. In the meantime we have made do with watching train as well as train crossing signal videos!

  38. My daughter has a Thomas toy that’s great for bedtime. It shines little projections of the characters on the walls. It’s a great way to convince her to get ready for bed.

  43. As soon as I saw the princess belle paper doll craft , I knew it would be the most perfect thing to make with my middle daughter! Disney princess obsessed and Belle is one of her favorites

  49. I love how you can add to the Thomas toy sets. I like that they are durable . The kids love the Thomas train sets.

  85. What I like best about The Thomas the Tank Engine And Friends toys is that our Granddaughter and us will have so much fun playing with it and also her brother when he gets old enough.

  194. What I love are the cute characters and all the different ways that the tracks can be built – being able to change the track options and add other tracks together is great for expanded creativity and play options!
