Matcha offers a natural energy boost, a rich source of antioxidants, and a distinct earthy taste. The vibrant green hue and earthy flavour profile of matcha have captivated people around the world, leading to its incorporation in various culinary creations.

a) Matcha

Choose a high-quality matcha that is vibrant green in colour and has a smooth texture. The quality of matcha directly impacts the flavour and overall experience of the pudding shots.

b) Pudding Mix

Opt for instant pudding mix in flavours that complement the Matcha such as pistachio. You can also choose vanilla or white chocolate pudding mix. These flavours will enhance the matcha’s earthiness and provide a creamy base for the shots.

c) Milk

You’ll need milk to prepare the pudding mix.

d) Alcohol

While not necessary, adding alcohol to pudding shots can elevate the experience. Popular choices include rum, or even liqueurs like Kahlua or Bailey’s Irish Cream. I used Vodka for this pudding shots recipe. Experiment with different spirits to find your preferred combination.

e) Toppings and Garnishes:

Consider adding toppings and garnishes to enhance the visual appeal and taste of your Matcha Pudding Shots. Some options include whipped cream, chocolate shavings, matcha powder sprinkles, or even fresh berries.
