Eggnog Recipes for Any Occasion

Believe it or not, beverages similar to eggnog have been part of holiday menu planning since medieval times. For awhile, it was only available to monks and aristocrats… Because of the high cost of ingredients.

By the 18th century, this drink was readily available to almost everyone. The most popular version, which was served cold, is a close relative to the eggnog we serve today.

In many locations, eggnog is only commercially available November through January. But, that doesn’t mean you can’t make it yourself during the rest of the year.

This is a short list of yummy eggnog recipes for all occasions. It includes recipes for both the actual drink and several delicious treats. Enjoy!
