White chocolate dipped OREO cookies are the best way to bring some Easter festivity to your home and enjoy some snackable treats made just for the holiday.
I don’t know about you, but I like having sweets around from candy dishes to cookie jars. These treats are low-hanging fruit when it comes to jazzing up my home for holidays and festive seasons. Everything gets pastel overlays at Easter, from candy shells to (my favourite) white chocolate coatings for cookies. Here is a quick and easy recipe for a classic seasonal update.

White Chocolate Covered OREO Cookies Are Edible Decor
For some people, decor is the name of the game and I love good holiday decor. Other people prioritize food. Great traditional Easter holiday recipes and special holiday-themed desserts are also very transformative and spirit-lifting. While I lean more toward food, I look for opportunities to bridge that gap. Beautiful, colourful and displayable white chocolate dipped OREO cookies do just that. They are decorative and delicious.
Melting White Chocolate
The case against these methods is how time-consuming it is when you want to make multiple colours of white chocolate coating since you need to make them one at a time. That’s why I recommend the microwave even though it means you have to work more quickly.
If you have never coated an OREO cookie or anything else in melted chocolate, don’t worry. It’s easy to do. These instructions are based on using the microwave, so you don’t have to worry about using a double boiler; however, you do need to work fast. With a microwave you must be careful not to burn the chocolate, but if it’s not hot enough it will firm up again quickly. Other methods of melting down chocolate involve a double boiler which you can DIY, or a mini slow cooker, which you can use as a fondue pot.

WHAT DO YOU USE TO DIP OREOS?
You can use use white chocolate chips and food colouring to colour them in different pastel colours or use coloured candy melts.
HOW DO YOU MAKE THE White Chocolate Dipped OREOS?
This recipe shows you how to make chocolate covered OREOS without a mold. Simply melt chocolate chips, add the food colouring, or melt the candy melts in a bowl and dip the OREO cookies one at a time. You want to decorate each individual OREO right after it has been dipped or the coating will cool too much.
HOW LONG CAN YOU STORE THE Covered OREO Cookies?
You can keep the OREO cookies in a sealed container for up to two weeks. Keep them at room temperature or in the refrigerator.
