It’s been almost three months now since our third babe was born and while I love that her chunky rolls are growing I’m wondering why mine are sticking around? After I had my first child, it seemed that nursing was a miracle drug. The more I nursed, the more my baby belly vanished. Fabulous. After my second child, nursing also worked pretty well but I definitely needed to work at it a bit harder. I figured, having a third…this bod would bounce back pretty fast right? Yikes, I was wrong. My baby girl is now four months old and nursing just isn’t going to cut it. I was thrilled when AT Surgical Company sent me their “After Baby Tummy Belt for Post Partum Recovery” to try. Here are my thoughts:
What I loved about it…
I love that it fits snuggly around my tummy. I definitely feel like it’s holding in my belly.
I love that you can adjust the Velcro to make it bigger or smaller
I love that my muscles were a bit tender after I took it off…definitely made me feel like they were tightening up.
What I didn’t love about it…
The belt didn’t come with any instructions on how to wear it, how long to wear it, how tight to make it, why it was important to wear one post partum etc. This made trying to figure out which end was up a bit difficult.
Overall, I definitely feel like this product sets out to do what it was designed for. By supporting my tummy in the belt, I feel like my muscles are on the mend and getting tighter and stronger. If you’re looking for something to keep your baby tummy in and supported and overall smaller than I suggest you look at this product but you might want to email them for instructions.
Keep it Beautiful.

Never knew that breastfeeding could help with a baby belly, lol, that’s so cool! And that belt is pretty neat if you need extra help. Will keep this in mind if I get to that point, thanks for the tips! 🙂
I’ve heard of people use shawls to tighten their tummies post delivery; it’s good to know that there’s an actual product for it.
I’ve heard of these and always wondered if they actually worked! Great review 🙂 Sounds like a great product that many moms can use after having a baby 🙂
I only wish I had of known about these belts a few years ago. I’ll be sharing this with my sister though.
I have heard of these before, never tried one though
I wish I had known these existed after my first baby was born – it took more than a year for it to look normal again! Now I know for the next one!
I have always wondered if they actually worked!
