  • 1 stick unsalted butter, softened
  • ⅔ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 large egg, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • 1 ½ cups Easter M&Ms

How to make Easter M&M Cookies

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
  3. Add in the egg and mix.
  4. Add flour, vanilla, baking soda & chocolate chips and mix.
  5. Form 1 ½ inch size cookie balls and set on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Add M&M’s on top of each cookie.
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges turn a light golden colour.
  8. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
