This Valentines’ Day box is an easy craft to make with the kids. The Valentines box is fun to decorate and you place small little presents inside for each other when it’s done!
I love Valentine’s Day. As a kid, my family was totally into it. Well, I guess it was my mom that was the most into it and by default we all were. However, now that I’m a mom I’m all over the cheesy celebratory dinner and sharing of the love. As kids, we made Valentines’ Day crafts and had a Valentine’s Day Box.
Turning Valentine’s Day into a family celebration is as easy as implementing some new traditions. Simple and fun valentines activities can help every family member involved appreciate love and learn to demonstrate affection for others.
How to make a valentines box
So, while shopping the other day at Dollarama, I cam across this red box for $2! Perfect for a DIY Valentine’s Day Box.
One night after dinner, I whipped out the red Valentine’s Day box and the boys decorated it with stickers, glitter and markers. This is an adorable way to get your kiddies working together and creating something for love.
Now the kids can make cute little gifts to put inside for one another or we can head over to the dollar store and they can pick what they want to give their siblings for love day:)
How easy is that Valentine’s Day box craft? The kids love it, it looks adorable and made with tender loving care.
And remember…..Valentine’s Day shouldn’t be limited to young couples and those who are dating. Everyone needs to be told they are loved and appreciated. Valentine’s Day is the perfect day for family celebrations and to call a mother, father, child, spouse, uncle, aunt, grandchild, grandparent, or cousin simply to let them know they are appreciated!
I hope you enjoyed this Valentine’s Day Craft Box as much as I did! If you make it, please share your photos with us on Facebook or Twitter! Also, check out all of our other crafts!
