1. Easter at Billings Bridge Shopping Centre  – Date to be confirmed

Easter comes early to Billings Bridge Shopping Centre! Face painting, a one-on-one talk with the Easter Bunny and an Easter Scavenging Hunt waits for visitors.  There are even specific sessions for fur children to have a chat with their fellow furry friend!

2. Hoppy Easter Family Event  Ottawa Humane Society 
April 4, 2020 at 1 PM

It may be a week away fro ten big day, but the annual Hoppy Easter family event will be one to attend this year! Easter-themed activities such as egg races, OHS Auxiliary craft and bake sale, Critter Crafters craft sale, cupcake decorating, and the Bunny himself will be hopping in for a meet-and-greet will be available to take part in!  Treats will be on hand for visitors to nibble on.

3Family Glow Easter Egg Hunt April 11 – 12, 2020 from 12 pm- 1 pm

The Easter Bunny is stopping by GlowSport Ottawa West and we need your help finding eggs!! Each participant starts off with their own Easter Basket to collect eggs and take home after. The kids then do some glowing face painting in vibrant colours using non-toxic paint. Fun family music is played in the arena so the glow in the dark environment is inviting and not scary.

4. Easter at the Farm Canadian Food and Agriculture Museum April 10-12, 2020  from 9:30 am – 4 pm

The arrival of spring is what the Canadian Food and Agriculture is celebrating this Easter weekend! Come and see how the farm has come alive with the arrival of newborn animals. Children can also take part in an egg roll race in the meadow. Make sure to bring your picnic basket to sit on to enjoy Eccentric Adam performs for visitors. DJ Rico will be rocking the barn playing family friendly tunes.

5. Easter Weekend and Proulx Maple and Berry Farm  April 10-13, 2020 Various Times   

Plenty of fun is waiting for families at Proulx Maple Berry Farm. Visitors can enjoy face painting, an Easter egg hunt and a clue hunt. Also have fun while taking in a sweet visit to their sugar bush!

6.Easter at the Estate – Billings Estate National Historic Site Saturday, April 11, 2020 from 9 am – 3 pm 

Go back in time to see what Easter was like for the Billings when you visit the Billings Estate National Historic Site. Discover how spring brought about the theme of renewal as seen in Victorian-era Easter imagery and celebrations while doing fun activities and games with your family. Be a part of their Easter egg hunt, decorate eggs with traditional dyes, and plant and take home your own carrot seed to watch it grow!  The Easter Bunny will hop by the Estate to say hello!

7. Hop into Spring Cumberland Heritage Village Museum Saturday, April 11, 2020 from 10 am – 4 pm

Jump into fun as you take in the fun at the Cumberland Heritage Village Museum! Solve an Easter puzzle while exploring the Museum grounds, challenge your family members to compete against each other in fun games, and learn about traditional dyeing tools and techniques while decorating eggs!

8. Easter Egg-stravaganza Hunt Bytown Museum April 11th – 13th, 2020 from 11am – 4pm

Crafts, an Easter egg hunt and prizes are what the Bytown Museum has in store for visitors this Easter!

9. Bell’s Bunny Hop Fairfields Heritage House 
Saturday, April 11, 2020 from 10 am – 4 pm

Spring into action as your family takes in the grounds at Fairfields Heritage House! Create a bunny mask before going on an Easter egg hunt. Families will have fun while being introduced to this heritage property.

10. Easter at the Bunker Diefenbaker Museum 
Saturday, April 11, 2020 from 10 am – 4:00 pm

Breaking news: The Easter Bunny will be hopping by the Diefenbaker Museum during Easter weekend! He created a fun scavenger hunt for families to unearth using camouflaged eggs. There will be three levels of difficulty for egg hunters of all ages to enjoy.

12. Cheeky Bunny Pots Workshop Square Lemon Friday April 10, 2020 from 1 pm – 2:30 pm

Come along to Square Lemon’s Easter Holiday workshop. They celebrate bunnies and cheeky bunnies! These rabbits are busy digging in to the pots, looking for goodies! As well as the bunnies and their pots, you will be making cards to go along with them! Workshop is suitable for children as well as adults, but children must be accompanied at all times.
