Yearly Events at Disney You Don’t Want to Miss
If you love to attend any Disney parks, you may already know that there are some events that take place annually and it’s a lot of fun for guests who return again and again to attend their favourite events. Wether you live close to a Disney park, or just have the opportunity to travel there, consider some of these yearly events! If you’re attending for the first time, you may want to choose when you go based on the events that your family wants to see the most.
Here are some annual events at Disney parks:
Christmas around Disney
Disney goes all out for Christmas at all of its parks, so this is a great time of year to visit. Magic Kingdom has Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party complete with fireworks and parades. There’s Disney’s Yuletide Fantasy at WDW. The Festival of the Holidays At Epcot combines the best of what we love about Epcot Festivals and the joyful spirit of Christmas celebration. The Disney Festival of Holidays is held at Disney California Adventure Park.
Epcot® International Festival of the Arts
The Epcot International Festival of the Arts is a Celebration of Art, Entertainment, and Food that runs from mid January to the third week of February.
Epcot Flower and Garden Festival
The Epcot Flower and Garden Festival is an annual event abloom with brilliant gardens, fresh flavours, rockin’ entertainment, and more! It occurs every year from March to June!
Epcot International Food and Wine Festival
The Epcot International Food and Wine Festival showcases the world’s finest food, wine, and entertainment every year around late August to mid November.
The Pirates League
Magic Kingdom lets you join Captain Jack Sparrow and his crew for some pirate fun! Check in for a pirate transformation that can include a hairstyle, facial effect, and other special treasures. It usually happens year round!
Halloween Happenings
Varies based on the location, but usually from mid August to November 1st. There’s the Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party at Disneyland, and at Disney World, the Mickey’s Not-so-Scary Halloween Party.
Spring Training
ESPN Wide World of Sports has annual Spring Training events for High Schools and Colleges.
Run Disney
The Walt Disney World Marathon is an annual marathon and weekend race series held every January in Orlando. The WDW Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend is held each November.
These are some of the most popular annual events happening at WDW and Disneyland parks. If you have the chance to attend during one of these events, you really don’t want to miss them! It’s an experience you and your family will always remember!

All seem like a lot of fun, I think I would like the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival and the The Pirates League the best.
