Full Freedom Bras by Carole Martin – Review

Have you heard of Carole Martin Full Freedom Bras? They have been on the market since the 1970’s and offer comfortable, high quality, and supportive bras with no underwire. I have to admit that I was a little skeptical to write these bra reviews on the Full Freedom Cotton Bra and the Original Full Freedom Comfort Bra by Carole Martin.

That’s why I even went to Giant Tiger to try on the bras before I accepted to write this review. I had seen them in the store before, but never gave them a second look. Why, I don’t know, because I was extremely surprised by how they hug my shape so comfortably.

The Most Comfortable Full Freedom Bras by Carole Martin

Original Full Freedom Comfort Bra Review

The Original Carole Martin Comfort Bra is one of the most comfortable bras that I have ever tried on. You can feel the soft and satiny fabric on your skin. It’s a a great bra to wear at work, shopping, relaxing at home, or to that special dinner party. The bra straps are comfortable, but not adjustable. It’s available in beige, white, or black with a stretch cup that fits cup size B, C, D, or DD.

Full Freedom Cotton Bra Review

The Full Freedom Cotton Bra is made with a breathable cotton stretch fabric. It was perfect to wear to work, at home, or while I was exercising and working out.  The bra fit is slightly different then the Full Freedom Comfort Bra, since it has a broader elastic support and less stretch fabric that gives a little more support like a sports bra. The bra straps are comfortable, but not adjustable. It’s available in white or black with a stretch cup that fits B, C or D size.

  • Easy front hook closure
  • No underwire or stiff elastics to irritate your skin
  • 95% Cotton / 5% Spandex
  • Extra wide straps and open back reduces back strain
  • Machine washable and hang to dry

What I like the best about the Full Freedom bras:

  • Their convenient front closure, so no more need to spin the bras to put them on;
  • I was worried about ongoing fit because of the non-adjustable straps, but the straps did not slide and stayed on even when I was working out;
  • I just have to choose my normal bra band size like B cup and the stretch fabric will hug my shape and hold my breasts nicely;
  • The soft stretch comfortable material;
  • You won’t find a similar product on the market at that affordable price!

  1. I always feel like I need an underwire for support but then the wires end up poking out of the side and the bra is ruined. I will have to pick up one of these to try out. You can’t beat the price!

  2. I have never heard of these before. They sound great. It is always so difficult to find a bra that fits properly and is comfortable.

  3. No I have never bought one, this is the first time I have ever heard of these. They sound great and I would love to try one.

  4. I`ve not heard of Carole Martin Comfort Bras before but must admit that they do look comfortable. I`ll have to look into this.

  5. I’ve been a fan of the original bra, not the cotton. I don’t know what the company did that sells and the distributor / seamstress, but the new ones are NOT the original as claimed. I have both and at first sight they would appear alike they are not. One full figure silky fabric has about an extra inch of fabric on both sides cut wrong, it’s not comfortable. Very disappointing. If you can get your hands on the truly original one, good luck- it is 85% nylon, 15% spandex. Even though the newer make has the same, the marking is wrong. On the one that fits me has the size written in yellow ink, the newer one is too stiff and the doesn’t hang from the shoulder properly.

  6. I have tried the Carole Martin Full Freedom Comfort Bra and I love it. I have lost a bit of mobility on my left arm and this front closure is so easy to use.It is comfortable without those nasty wires and support is great. I would recommend it to anyone out there . And the price is definitely wonderful . Thank you for making my life a bit easier 🙂

  7. I wear a Carole Martin Comfort bra and have discarded all of the others that I THOUGHT were comfy. Wrong! I bought two, thank goodness, at Walmart in Langford, BC, but they have never had them since and although Amazon has them for sale, they are only available via Amazon.com for the USA, and they will not deliver to Canada. Amazon.ca does not have Carole Martin Comfort Bras, so I am out of luck. Ideas?

  8. I HAVE BEEN WEARING THE CAROLE MARTIN BRA FOR 20 YRS NOW… I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER ONE.. THANK GOD THIS COMPANY IS STILL HERE BECAUSE I WILL NEVER FIND ANOTHER ONE LIKE CAROLE MARTIN COTTON, NO WIRE AND CLOSING IN THE FRONT. THANK YOU.

  9. I purchased this bra a long time ago and it fit perfectly and wore it out.I just reordered and the non adjustable strap fell off my shoulders.I then exchanged for adjustable strap and it is a bit snugger, but it still doesn’t feel secure? Did they change who and how they make this bra now??I will try for a couple days and see if it gets better.. Thank you
