When will the disney wish cruise ship set sail

The Maiden Voyage sets sail on June 9th, 2022. Bookings for the Disney Wish are now available for June through December 2022, with most sailings already sold out. The Disney Wish will be doing 3 and 4-night cruises from Port Canaveral, Florida (near Orlando). All of the Disney Wish itineraries spend a day in Nassau, Bahamas, and a day on Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay.

Feature #1: The Disney Wish AquaMouse

Although every Disney ship has waterslides on the top deck, the Aquamouse is Disney’s first attraction at sea. This waterslide feels like a ride in a Disney park. This waterslide will last a little over 2 minutes as it propels you 760 feet around the upper deck. It looks fantastic, taking the same artistic look as the recent Mickey shorts. A must-ride!

Feature #2: Secret Entrance to the Oceaneer Club (Youth clubs)

Disney cruise line is great for families specifically because of all the space that goes into the youth clubs. The space dedicated to a casino on other cruise ships is instead dedicated to youth clubs on Disney Cruise Line. The Disney Wish ship is no different and it takes it a step further with a secret entrance. The secret entrance is in the Grand Hall on deck 3 where you can check your children into the club. They can then take the secret entrance which will slide them down to deck 2 directly into the Oceaneer Lab. It’s so incredibly cool, I can only hope that it’s available for adults to try during the open house hours.

Feature #3: Become a Disney Imagineer

The youth club will include a new section called the “Walt Disney Imagineering Lab”. This will allow kids to step into the shoes of Disney Imagineers and design their own roller coaster ride. Then they can get in a simulator and ride their newly designed roller coaster. There will also be other cool imaginary features on things that you can design, draw or create within this lab. How incredible for all of those super-creative kids!

Feature #4: New Entertainment Venues

There will be three brand-new interactive family elements on the Disney Wish ship. The first is the Grand Hall stage. Located in the three-story atrium which includes the grand staircase and the ship’s statue of Cinderella.

The next is “Luna”, which is an entertainment venue that changes form from the afternoon into the evening. It may be an area for interactive games and activities for families during the day. At night it becomes a little bit more adult-exclusive.

The last interactive area is “Hero zone”. A sports arena with fun challenging games where families can get involved in physical activity.

Feature #5: Enjoy The Force and a Drink

Highlight number five is the amazing “Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge”. For the first time on a Disney ship, you’ll embark on a journey through the Star Wars galaxy. This upscale bar is designed like a luxurious spaceship. This immersive experience will be for adults-only every night. The interactive tasting experiences and signature drinks are inspired by destinations such as Batuu, Tatooine, and Mustafar. This will be the go-to location for all Star Wars fans.

Feature #6: Peaceful Retreats

The staterooms aboard the Disney Wish have an all-new look and feel that is imbued with enchantment and inspired by Disney’s dream stories. Each stateroom will be a luxurious and peaceful retreat, designed with enough space for families, plenty of storage, and high-end equipment. It’s also the first Disney ship to have a two-story suite on the concierge level. A spiral staircase and some stained glass are some elements that make this suite stunning. Other suites at the front of the Disney Wish ship are beautiful with windows that have a floor-to-ceiling look. Do not forget the Wish Tower Suite.

A detailed look of the Disney Wish – Tower Suite

The Disney Tower Suite is a 1,966 square-foot penthouse in the sky. It is Disney Cruise Lines most unique accommodation yet. It is located inside one of the funnels above the top deck. This suite will sleep up to eight guests. It has two main bedrooms, a children’s room, a library that converts to a bedroom, and four-and-a-half bathrooms. The magnificent living room is flanked by an open dining area and a bar, all offering extraordinary views across the upper decks to the horizon through an expansive two-story window wall.

Disney Wish Arendelle: Frozen Dining ExperiencePin

Feature #7: Frozen Dining Experience

The first is Arendelle, a Frozen Adventure, the first-ever theatrical dining experience with Frozen characters. Throughout the meal, guests will enjoy live musical performances by these beloved characters. Guests will even get the opportunity to join the festivities with fun table crafts, hilarious sing-alongs, and a grand finale that’ll have everyone in the audience on their feet. The one-of-a-kind menu combines traditional flavors and ingredients from the Nordic region with modern, family-friendly fare. Guests will delight in this scrumptious smorgasbord of superior seafood, rustic game dishes, and tasty nods to the Frozen story. Of course, the sister’s favorite for dessert…chocolate!

Feature #8: A Nod to the Man Himself

A Walt Disney-inspired throwback-themed restaurant called 1923. The name 1923 is a nod to the year that the Walt Disney Company was founded. This gorgeous restaurant transports you back to Hollywood with that glitz and glam from the 1920s. It features renderings of old-school animation and Walt Disney himself. The diverse menu will mirror California’s unique blend of Asian, European, and South American cuisines. It will feature local ingredients like fresh produce, wild honey, and earthy pistachios.

Feature #9: Marvel Fans Unite!

The third restaurant onboard the Disney Wish is called Worlds of Marvel. The first-ever Marvel Cinematic Food Adventure. You’ll take an interactive role in an action-packed Avengers mission that unfolds around you. The highlight of this special event is a hands-on demonstration of the latest and greatest Pym Tech. The Quantum Core, which uses cutting-edge (and highly unstable) technology to shrink and grow targets at the push of a button. A few “misfires” will result in hilarious Ant-Man-style hijinks. The real trouble begins when an unexpected villain shows up with a fearsome army in tow, eager to get their hands on this powerful quantum technology.

All three of these restaurants (features seven, eight, and nine) are family-themed restaurants. They are part of Disney Cruise Line’s rotational dining, ensuring that each guest will get to enjoy the experience.

Of course, the highlights could go on and on including several themed adult areas such as Beauty and the Beast and the adult-only areas. There is so much more to see and do on the Disney Wish!
