Strawberry scones with frozen strawberries
If you’re making these strawberry white chocolate chip scones in the fall or during the winter months and don’t have fresh strawberries on hand, frozen strawberries will work. The key to working with frozen berries in desserts like scones is to thaw them and then get off as much of the liquid as you can. Fold the berries in last and you won’t have colour bleed that turns the scones pink.

You could even try making more than one batch with different berries in each. You could also do a mixed berry flavour scones.
