1cupall-vegetable shorteningcold, cut into small pieces

1cupfat free2% or regular evaporated milk
1 ½cupswhite chocolate chips
2cupschopped fresh strawberries
Glaze
2cupsicing sugar
5tbspfat free2% or regular evaporated milk
½tspvanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425°F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment papers.
Scones
In a large bowl add flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt and mix. Cut in vegetable shortening with fingers or pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
In a medium bowl add milk and eggs and whip. Add to flour mixture and combine, after, add white chocolate chips and combine. Add fresh strawberries and combine. Be careful not to over mix the strawberries.
Place the scone dough on a lightly floured surface. Shape the dough into a square that is 1” inch thick and cut into 16 pieces.
Place scones on prepared baking sheets. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes until lightly golden.
Glaze
Add icing sugar, milk and vanilla in a bowl and stir.
Drizzle glaze over scones when they come out of the oven. If you would like more glaze, drizzle again 10-15 minutes later
