Disney World is a magical place, where magical memories are made daily! If you are fortunate enough to visit Disney World at least once, you will be sure to create an assortment of wonderful memories! Unless you have allergies… Right? Wrong! Disney World can still be magical, even if you suffer from allergies. Here are some things to keep in mind on How to Conquer Disney World When You Have Allergies!
How to Conquer Disney World When You Have Allergies

1. Food Allergies
If you or someone in your family has food allergies, whether it be nut allergies, an allergy to gluten, dairy, or anything else, be sure to check out the menus online ahead of time. This will help you to get an idea of which restaurants will best suit your needs. You will also want to be sure that you let your servers know of any allergies as soon as you arrive. This way you are sure to avoid any confusion. Employees at Disney are absolutely wonderful, and are happy to help you find foods that will comply with your individual needs for all ages!

2. Bring Snacks
Although Disney does a wonderful job accommodating guests with their dietary needs and allergies, it may be wise to bring some of your own snacks. You never really know when hunger will strike, especially after wandering around the hot park all day. So, be prepared with suitable snacks to hold you over until you can make it to an allergy friendly restaurant. It’s truly awesome that Disney World allows guests to bring in drinks and snacks, as such take advantage of it while you can!

3. OTC Meds
High pollen counts can really ruin our day if you suffer from bad seasonal allergies. While you may not be having any issues with your allergies at home, you may find that the climate at Disney World is different than what you are used to. Thus, you may find yourself coming down with the sniffles, runny nose, and itchy eyes.
If you find yourself suffering miserably from allergies while you are at Disney, not to worry! Many of the gift shops sell individual portioned medicines to help you alleviate your symptoms. You can also stop by any of the first aid stations, as they are prepared and well stocked with items you may need.
In general, if you feel that allergies may cause an issue for you, you are better off bringing a few doses of your own medicine with you. The products you will purchase in the park will cost a fortune, compared to you what you normally pay, and the selection will be slim.
No matter what kind of allergies you have, it’s never fun! Hopefully, these tips show you how to conquer Disney World when you have allergies.
