Some toys never seem to go out of style, and slime is definitely one of those toys! Chances are you remember playing with slime when you were younger, and chances are your parents played with it as well! Now, your children are also obsessed with it! The only difference is that today’s children are also obsessed with making slime. And, why not? It is so much fun to make! Plus, there are so many different kinds of slime to make!

There are slimes with different textures, colours, and even add-ins. Some have foam beads, while others are loaded with glitter. Many of these are made with ingredients you can find in almost any discount department store. This means that you can set your kids up with their own slime-making factory for very little money. In fact, if you purchase large containers of the supplies, your kids will have enough supplies to make several batches of slime. It’s actually a very affordable hobby for your kids!

Below, you’ll find a number of awesome DIY slime recipes. There are bright and glittery colours, but there are also some that looks like something from a swamp! Your kids will have so much fun making these different kinds of slime. Additionally, you can purchase large containers for your kids to keep them in. You can also purchase some smaller containers so they can give their friends some of the slime they’ve made, or for smaller batches of slime!
