Are you looking for something cute to make for your little ones this Easter? These Easter Carrot Treat Boxes are so adorable and so easy to make. You can fill these with everything from jelly beans to M&M’s. If you’re going to a large gathering, make several so that all the kids can enjoy these. You could even make these for your kids to take to school and give to their teachers or classmates.
Chances are you have everything you need for this craft on hand. All you need is craft paper, scissors, glue, a pencil, and the included template. That’s it. This craft is more about the use of the different coloured craft paper to create different shapes. In other words, it’s an extremely easy craft that is quick and fun to make. It’s not something you’ll spend a lot of money on and hate making.
There’s just something fun about filling this little treat box with delicious candies. What’s even more fun is watching your little ones open these and finding the surprise inside. These would make a great addition to an Easter basket as well.
If you really want to have fun, and teach your kids something, make carrots in orange, yellow, and purple. If your kids haven’t seen yellow and purple carrots before, they’ll be in disbelief that they come in colours other than orange. You could make several of these and completely fill an Easter basket. Put something different in each box so that every time your child opens one, there will be something different inside.
This is such a fun craft not only because it’s quick and easy to make, but it’s so fun to watch people open these. If you want to bring a smile to your coworkers’ faces, consider making some for the office as well. After all, even grownups need a sweet surprise every now and then.

List of Supplies
- Coloured Craft Papers – orange, green and 2 or 3 more colours
- Craft Glue
- Pencil – to trace the template
Print and cut out the large square pattern from the template. Fold the square paper along the 2 dash lines and unfold again. Now the paper is divided into 3 parts, 2 equal parts and 1 thin part.
Apply glue along the thin part.
Fold up the other side of the paper and join it with the thin part. Also glue any one of the open ends.
Now we have 1 open end. Place the treats inside the package through the open end.
Take a 3 inches long and 1 inch wide green craft paper and fold it into half. Cut small fringe on the open ends of the paper.
Place about a cm of the fringed green paper’s intact side inside the orange package and secure the open end using glue.
Choose some coloured craft papers to trace and cut the 4 round labels from the template.
Glue each labels one on the top of the other (gluing the smaller ones on the bigger ones). Write something on the label if desired and glue it with the carrot box.
