Going to a Disney Park is one of the most exciting things you will ever do in life! Even if you’ve been before, you’re sure to form new memories, as there is always something more to see and do! With that in mind, let’s take a look at some Disney hacks with tips and tricks to help you get the most from your trip to Disney. These are things you need to consider when you are still planning and not yet at the park! Here are 5 awesome Disney hacks you need to know before you go!
5 Disney Hacks
1. My Disney Experience App
Go and download it now. Seriously, it’s going to totally change how you plan for and enjoy your trip to Disney! It does everything from linking your reservations, to letting you search the length of line queues, and more. You can make reservations at Disney restaurants, and even buy souvenirs, all through the app!
2. Book your FastPass+ 30 Days Before
With the purchase of a Walt Disney World ticket, you can reserve access to selected attractions as early as 30 days before you arrive thanks to the FastPass+. For one park per day of your visit, secure up to 3 FastPass+ selections. If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you can make your FastPass+ selections up to 60 days prior to check-in for the entire length of your stay. There is no extra charge for this complimentary benefit.
3. Order Magic Bands and Luggage Tags Early
Before your trip, order those Magic Bands and luggage tags early so they arrive in time. Your Magic Band is like your lifeline throughout the park. It’s your room key, park ticket, and everything else.
4. Acquire a Disney Vacation Planner to Help You Find Amazing Deals
You can get discounted Disney tickets using an Authorized Disney Vacation Planners, like OMC Blogger, Jeremie from Pure Magic Vacations. They will work arduously to find you the best deals and save you time and money. It’s all free!
5. Stay at a Disney Resort Hotel and Get Access to Magic Hours
Did you know that when you stay at a Disney Resort hotel, you get access to up to three extra hours of park time? At Disney World, the park is open an hour earlier and two hours later on select days for Disney Resort hotel guests. Get to Disney by taking advantage of the magic hours when the park is less crowded and the lines are shorter!
Whether it’s your first time at Disney, or your fifth, these 5 hacks will help you get the most out of your visit!
I’ve been to most Disney in asia.
Make sure you don’t eat before you go on those rides!! I got nauseous once in the one in hong kong
My comment was erased about how I don’t think the Fast Pass is fair because Disney is already really expensive and not everyone can afford the extra luxury of a Fast Pass plus it’s not fair to everyone else especially the kids that don’t have a Fast Pass. Everyone should have to wait in line equally especially when it comes to Kids and what is supposed to be the Happiest Place on Earth !
The FastPass+ is valid for 3 rides only, the other rides you have to wait like everyone else and it’s free! Waiting in line teaches patience to children of all ages … something we all need to work on:)
That’s great to know because it’s been a long time since I’ve been there. Unfortunately for me sometimes my patience aren’t that great but I guess that can be said for everyone
Hi Debbie,
While I do certainly agree with you that Express pass options at some theme parks are priced to scare guests away from the service. The FastPass+ service at Walt Disney World Resort is included with every park admission. It is Free!
All you have to do is create a free Disney account and link your park tickets or resort reservation.
FastPass can be reserved and modified either on the My Disney Experience website, via the Disney World app or at the in-park FastPass+ kiosks.
Contact me when you start thinking of going back and I will help you plan your vacation (my services are free) and minimize the amount of patience required.

Someday I hope to visit Disney!
We were at Disney back in March 1990 — time to visit again, would also like to spend more time there then the last time, maybe at a Disney hotel.
Staying at a Disney resort is so much fun and you can experience the Disney experience to the fullest!
