Loom Footwear Waterproof Sneakers Review

I have spent most of my life wearing flip-flops or shoes with no support. Over the years, my back and feet have become an issue and I now have daily chronic pain. When it comes to shoes, I have tried many and am always looking for a pair that lasts and won’t hurt my feet. When I heard about Loom Waterproof Footwear for men and women, I knew I had to try them! It has been many years since I had white shoes, so I decided to choose that colour for this review.

Do you do a lot of standing throughout the day or like to walk and take hikes? I am on my feet a few hours during the day and I love to walk, but haven’t been able to for a long period of time. I want to be able to do that again and not have to take breaks to alleviate the pain. I believe that these Loom sneakers will help with that.

Loom footwear is eco-friendly and comes in two colours: black and white for both men and women. You will find them to be lightweight and odour-free. Most shoes after a few days can end up with a stinky foot smell, but these shoes are truly odourless and still smell like new shoes (my daughter did a smell test after a week of use).

When it comes to waterproof footwear, you usually need a spray so they will remain waterproof and keep your feet dry in the elements. It is a process you have to continue through the duration of their life. These sneakers are made of high quality merino wool that is temperature regulating.

My daughter wanted to see how well her feet would stay dry walking through water. She didn’t believe that her feet would stay dry. Although it had been a rainy week, it was a sunny day when we headed to the park and found a stream to walk in. She was amazed that her feet did not get wet! But remember to keep the water below the shoe line or your feet will get wet. No one likes wet feet to ruin the day!

Both my daughter and I tried out the shoes, but my daughter has now claimed them for herself. I may have to purchase a pair for myself; however, I think I would choose black this time. My daughter’s current shoes rub the back of her ankle and are a bit uncomfortable.

While the only struggle we had with the shoes was getting them on for the first few times, we found there wasn’t much stretch in them. Additionally, unless the laces were completely loose, they were very difficult to put on. After a couple of weeks of wear, they have loosened up nicely and are the most comfortable shoes I have had on my feet. Since my daughter claimed them for herself, I don’t get much of a chance to wear them as often as I would like.

  126. Though not farmers ourselves, we lived in a restored farmhouse among 5 working farms. Even though we do not have to, we like helping with chores. Actually, I do not consider feeding baby lambs a chore at all and my husband loves chickens so he collects several dozen a day. Since one of the huge barns is right in our yard, we cannot just sit by and watch while the farmer, is family and hired hands to the work when we know we can pitch in too.
