Spring Is In The Air With DK Canada Books
I Can Grow a Flower DK Canada Book
This adorable little DK Canada book teaches you the process of how to plant a flower from planting the seed in your home to finding its home in your garden. This is perfect timing with the current weather changing and the boys are very excited to see a seed turn into a flower. They surprise you at the end with what flower they are speaking of throughout the book and there is a handy little glossary at the end.
Marvel Amazing Powers DK Canada Book
What little boy doesn’t absolutely adore everything to do with superheroes? Marvel super heroes at that. This is a wonderful DK Canada book to reference and learn about all the top guys (and gals) – such as Spiderman, The Hulk, Captain America, Ironman and lesser known heroes that were fun to discover such as Ultron, Thanos and Namor. There is also a handy glossary in this book as with most if not all DK books. What’s great is that Jax and Hudson already enjoy this book at age 3 and 5 but it’s a Level 3 reader for when they are reading more advanced on his own down the line.
Dinosaurs Discovered DK Canada Book
My boys are fascinated with Dinosaurs. One of our favourite outings is our local Museum of Nature because of its super awesome Dinasour exhibit. This certainly isn’t their first book about dino’s but it’s certainly one of the best! It talks about how paleontologists discovered dinosaurs and the history as well of geography of where they are found and much more. Great illustrations and Jax enjoyed recognizing some of them.
All three of these DK Canada books would make excellent gifts for birthdays or to help pass the time during social isolation!

I Can Grow a Flower. My 4 year old grandson may disagree and pick Dinosaurs Discovered, but my interest is gardening. We are separated by two provinces and he has now pick up my enthusiasm as my rhubarb & flower seeds grow. Our FaceTime chats include plant growth with my hand as a reference.
