Having Fun Reading with LEGO Books From DK Canada Review

We are having so much fun reading, building, and learning with LEGO this month thanks to DK Canada Books. My boys couldn’t wait to get their paws on these three books that not only are all about LEGO, but include LEGO pieces in every single one! Now, let’s have fun reading with LEGO books and start building LEGO models!

Below are the three books we were given to review:

LEGO Ninjago Book – Choose your Own Ninja Mission
LEGO – The Book of Bedtime Builds

My eldest son Jax LOVES Harry Potter LEGO, so he was so excited he wanted to open this one first and build the cool figure with his Dad. And in fact, it’s a 2 in 1 figure that comes with it so even better!

The LEGO book itself has all sorts of interesting Harry Potter facts and over 50 ideas for building Harry Potter scenes just like the movie!

LEGO Ninjago Book – Choose Your Own Ninja Mission

I was soooooo excited about this LEGO book! Talk about nostalgia… Growing up I used to LOVE choose your own adventure books, and I couldn’t wait to share this with Jax. He thought the idea was pretty cool, and of course it keeps the book relevant and interesting for a long time given there are 40 different ending possibilities!

Every page has two options to choose from after reading one part of the specific adventure. Along the way, the LEGO book provides facts and pictures of all of everyone’s favourite Ninjago characters. It certainly helps that there was a Ninjago Jay minifigure included. Just the icing on the cake!

LEGO – The Book of Bedtime Builds

This incredible LEGO book has a whopping EIGHT mini models! They all correspond to a different adventure to discover before bedtime and to help your kids wind down while spending time off screens before bed! The adventures are super cute and include stories about a pirate ship, dinosaur, robot, bird, elephant, spider, and spaceship. Anything that gets my kids off their tablets and engaging their imagination and creativity is a win in my books!

It was fun reading these three LEGO books! They would make excellent gifts for birthdays or to help pass the time during social isolation!
