Speaking of kids, this is a great craft to keep them busy on a snowy afternoon. It’s a craft that they will need to concentrate on, which usually means they’ll keep quiet for a little while. What parent doesn’t need a bit of quiet time when the kids are home from school? You could even use a variety of colours of paper so that your kids can be creative. Roses do come in a variety of colours after all.

Make Heart Cards for Friends or Classmates

If your kids have the time, this would be a cute card for them to make for their classmates. Of course, it will take quite a bit of time to put together that many cards, but your kids will have something unique rather than handing out the same cards as someone else in the class. If your kids want, they could attach a sucker to the cards for an added treat.

Whether you want to make homemade cards for your friends or want a craft to keep the kids busy, this is such a cute craft. These rose filled heart cards are very easy to make and you can use whatever colours you want. Remember to print the included template so that you can get started making these cards right away. And, don’t just make these for Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day. These cards would be great for any holiday where you want to show love for someone.

Step (1)

Prepare the card by using a cardstock paper or craft paper; the card should be square but the size of would depend on choice. I used white craft paper to make the card, it’s better to use a lighter colour for the card for this project. Use a pencil to trace the heart shape on the card.
