Halloween is one of those holidays that just about everyone likes! It is filled with frightful fun, decadent treats, and so many creative costumes and decorations that it is hard not to get in the spirit of things, regardless of your age. While I love to encourage fun for kids, today, the Halloween Spiked Toxic Tonic Recipe is all about us fun loving grown ups!
I have a delightfully creepy concoction to share with you that is the ultimate drink for your Halloween party. Served in beakers and coloured the perfect shade of green for Halloween, these Spiked Tonics are sweet, tangy and the totally terrifying thing about them is how you feel when they are all gone!
Made with lime juice, lime sherbet, and wine, these Spike Halloween Tonics are easy to make, and are basically fuss free as far as a cocktail recipe goes. But, they have such a delicious, unique flavour that no one will believe they are so easy to prepare.
Halloween Drink Presentation
The fun part about these drinks is the presentation, so make sure you find appropriate glassware! Beakers, test tubes, or funky shaped bottles would work perfectly. You can find some options at your local Halloween shop, or from Amazon.
As this recipe is made with wine, I would recommend using your favourite white wine for a flavour you will love. But, this is also a really fun way to use up the half bottles that weren’t finished in one setting too.
Non-Alcoholic Halloween drink
If you wanted to make this non-alcoholic for the designated driver, or as a fun Halloween mocktail for everyone, substitute the wine for Sprite or 7 Up.

The Spiked Toxic Tonic Recipe sounds like it would taste fantastic and that coming from someone who doesn’t usually drink alcohol. I had no idea that you could buy lime sherbet any where or any sherbet in fact. Where did you get yours from if I may ask?
This would be a different drink to try, love sweetened condensed milk – use it a lot for desert bars.
