White Chocolate Figs with Coarse Sugar

White chocolate figs dusted with shimmering coarse sugar are just the delicacy to indulge in by the fire with a plate of cheese.

Ingredients
  

  • 8-10 figs
  • 1 cup of white chocolate chips melted
  • 2 tbsp decorating coarse sugar optional

Instructions
 

  • In a double boiler, melt the chocolate chips. You can also melt them in the microwave in a microwave safe bowl for 30 seconds at a time, and repeat until melted.
  • Dip whole figs in melted white chocolate chips.
  • Sprinkle with decorating coarse sugar (I used white but you could use other colours).
  • Place on a parchment-lined tray and let set up in the fridge for 10 minutes.
  • Eat and enjoy!

Notes

HOW TO STORE THE WHITE CHOCOLATE FIGS
  • Refrigerator: Store uneaten (yeah, right) figs in a sealed plastic container in the refrigerator for 2-4 days after making.
  • Freezer: Figs can be frozen in a sealed container for 6 to 9 months.
