Poppy Seed Ham and Cheese Sliders

These poppy seed ham and cheese sliders are great appetizers to have on hand when the gang comes over for a party, to watch a sport's game, or the Super Bowl.

4 Slider Buns 16 slices Gouda Cheese or your favourite cheese such as Havarti or Mozzarella 8 slices Ham any ham 1/2 cup Butter melted 1 tsp Mustard 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp Poppy 1 tsp Brown sugar 1/2 tsp Onion powder 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
Heat the oven at at 350°F. Put a parchment paper in a heat-resistant tray or on a cookie sheet.
On a cutting board, cut the buns in half and put the bottom part on the tray or cookie sheet.
Lay out 2 slices of cheese on the half bun.
Add the 2 slices of ham and 2 slices of cheese.
Cover the top with the other half bun.
In a small bowl, whisk melted butter with mustard, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, poppy seeds, garlic and onion powder to make the sauce.
With a kitchen oil brush, brush the sauce on top of the buns.
Bake the ham and cheese sliders in the oven for about 20 minutes
Choose your favourite cheese such as Havarti or Mozzarella
Choose your favourite ham slices
This recipe makes 4 sliders, but you can double or triple the recipe to make as many as would like to feed your guests.
You can also add less cheese slices
