If you are a Harry Potter fan then I am sure you have heard of Butterbeer. This Butterbeer Frappuccino recipe will be your next favourite drink for the summer!

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Ice cube trays
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • 2 Cups/glasses

Ingredients
  

  • 4 scoops vanilla bean ice cream
  • 1 shot Espresso or strong coffee Other options: How to make Espresso with a drip coffee maker or how to make an Espresso without a machine
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1/2 cup milk ; maybe more
  • 4 tsp Caramel syrup for drizzle (homemade or store bought)
  • 4 tsp Butterscotch for drizzle (homemade or store bought)
  • 1 cup Whipped Cream for topping (homemade or store bought)

Instructions
 

  • Place 4 scoops ice cream, ice, shot of espresso or strong coffee, and milk into a blender. Blend well. If it is too thick add a little more milk and blend.
  • In a cup, drizzle caramel and butterscotch syrup along the sides of the cup. Pour in the Frappuccino.
  • Top the cold drink with whipped topping, caramel and butterscotch drizzle.

Notes

CAFFEINE-FREE BUTTERBEER FRAPPUCCINO - Leave out the shot of espresso.
DAIRY-FREE BUTTERBEER FRAPPUCCINO - Use dairy free coconut ice cream and oatmilk to replace the regular milk.
