Equipment

  • 1 Glass
  • 1 Cocktail Shaker
  • 1 Knife

Ingredients

  • 1 apple Sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups apple cider
  • 1 oz. gin
  • Ice

Instructions

  • Chill Your Glassware: Start by chilling your martini glass in the freezer for at least 15 minutes. This will help ensure your cocktail stays cold and refreshing.
  • Prepare the Ingredients: In a cocktail shaker, combine the gin and apple cider. Add a handful of ice cubes and give it a vigorous shake for about 15-20 seconds.
  • Strain and Serve: Remove the chilled martini glasses from the freezer. Strain the contents of the cocktail shaker into the prepared glass.
  • Garnish: Slice the apple. Be sure to remove the core. Add a few slices in the drink and garnish with a few thin slices of apple on the rim. This adds a beautiful visual element and enhances the autumnal aroma.
  • Enjoy: Serve the Apple Cider Martini immediately.

Notes

Tips for Customization:
Use Vodka: By combining the crisp apple cider with the sophisticated character of vodka, you can craft a drink that perfectly offers the essence of the fall season.
Use Flavoured Gin: For an extra layer of flavour, consider using a flavoured gin. This can add an additional depth of autumnal notes to the drink.
Rim the Glasses: For a festive touch, you can rim the martini glass with a mixture of ground cinnamon and sugar before pouring the cocktail.
Incorporate Spices: A dash of ground cinnamon, nutmeg, or allspice can also be added to the cocktail shaker to further enhance the fall flavours of the season.
Experiment with Garnishes: In addition to apple slices, you can also try garnishing the drinks with a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar, a drizzle of caramel sauce, or even a sprinkle of crushed graham cracker crumbs.
