Pleasing the kids on their birthday or even a sleepover with friends is easy with these Disney Encanto party ideas that will have the kids squealing with delight. Prepare for the day with these colourful free printable decorations.

During school breaks, it is a good idea for your kids to spend time with their friends and plan an Encanto party. When I was a kid, we would usually visit friends on their birthdays until we discovered sleepovers.

Disney Encanto on Disney Plus

This is about the magical Madrigal family that are living hidden in the mountains of Columbia in a place called Encanto. Each child is blessed with a unique gift, all but Mirabel. The gifts are given to each with a magical candle that was given to Abuelo and her 3 children when they fleed their hometown.

The story follows Mirabel as she tries to discover what is endangering their unique gifts and to protect her home. Will Mirabel and her family survive the crisis and does she get her special gift? Watch the movie on Disney Plus to find out.

Encanto party ideas

The Disney printables for Encanto has 12 pages that include water bottle tags, a banner, cupcake toppers, and tent cards with the characters from the movie on them. You should be able to find Encanto themed plates, table covering, and napkins at your local party store or the dollar store if you want to go all out. To get you started, you can download these free customizable Encanto birthday invitations.

Planning the Ultimate Disney Party

There are so many things you need to do to prepare for a party. You will need invitations, food, and, of course, decorations to go with your theme. With an Encanto theme, you will want to have a karaoke machine handy to sing some songs.

Make sure to print a couple of the Encanto banners to cover all areas that will be used for the party. One for where the main activities and food will be and one for where the movie will be viewed.

If it’s a birthday, have the Encanto movie playing so that the kids can take a break from activities to watch it for a bit throughout the party. I am sure most have already viewed it so they won’t have to watch it in its entirety during the party.

If it is a sleepover party, then the movie will be the last thing to be watched before the kids fall asleep. Set up an area with sleeping bags and pillows so that it is comfy for the night.

Make sure to have a snack station or two in the area where the movie will be seen.

Encanto party food ideas

Since Encanto is in Columbia, why not prepare some of their flavourful meals? You may notice that some of them are similar to Mexican food. Make sure to use tent cards for each food item you include on your table so everyone knows what it is.

Encanto cupcake toppers

Every party needs a cake or cupcakes. Since there are Encanto cupcake toppers as a printable, why not whip up some cupcakes? There are a few ways to have the cupcakes decorated. If you are familiar with fondant, then you can make up flower petals to add to the top. You can go the old fashion way and just use colourful icing, or let the kids decorate their own in a cupcake decorating station and then top them off with one of these Encanto cupcake toppers printable.

Now that you have some helpful Encanto birthday ideas, get the party started by printing off these fun colourful decorations that any Disney fan would love!
