Ziplock bag or piping bag with tip for icing (optional)
Ingredients
2cupsmilksemi-sweet, or dark chocolate
10two bite brownies
1cupchocolate icinghomemade or store bought
Mini eggs and Easter candy for decoration
Instructions
Using a heat safe bowl, pour into the bowl and place the chocolate chips in the microwave for 30 second intervals. Make sure to stir the chocolate after each 30 seconds until completely melted and smooth.
Using a spoon, pour about 1 tbsp of the the melted chocolate into the molds. Carefully swirl the chocolate to completely coat the inside of the mold (not fill it though), covering completely in a thick even layer.
Lightly shake the mold to remove all bubbles.
Let set in fridge for 30 minutes.
You want to try to get in a really nice thick coat, so if you need to set and then add another layer you can do that. Simply repeat the steps above.
Gently remove chocolate eggs from molds.
Put a plate in the microwave and heat for 1 minute. Place a chocolate egg half flat side down on the hot plate for a few seconds until the chocolate starts to melt to even out the tops.
Stuff with brownies (cut them in small pieces).
Top with icing. I decided to pipe my on to make it look pretty. You can also fill the icing in a Ziplock bag and slightly cut one of the corners to spread on top of the chocolate egg.
