BREAKFAST DONUT CASSEROLE WITH CHIA SEEDS AND FLAX
Even if you are not a breakfast person, you will appreciate how simple this donut casserole with chia seeds is. You'll especially love it!
- 4 cinnamon donuts or apple fritters
- ½ cup of milk
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp flax
Cut up the donuts and cinnamon into 2-inch pieces. These don’t have to be perfect, this recipe is very forgiving, so don’t measure, just chop.
Place pieces into a bowl.
In another bowl, add in the flax, chia, and milk and stir to combine.
Mix flax mixture with the donuts and stir to combine.
Place mixture into a pie plate.
Fill right to the top and place in a 350-degree oven for 25 minutes or until the tops of the donuts are brown and slightly crunchy.
Let cool and enjoy.
