PUMPKIN COOKIE DONUT RECIPE

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 cups of pumpkin purée canned or homemade
  • 1.5 cups of flour
  • 1 box of vanilla cake mix
  • About 1 cup of your favourite white icing homemade or store bought

TOPPING IDEAS

  • Canned pears
  • Canned peaches
  • Canned apple pie
  • You can use your favourite fruit toppings too

GARNISH IDEAS

  • Cinnamon sugar
  • Sugar
  • Sprinkles
  • Chocolate flakes

Instructions
 

  • Mix pumpkin purée, flour and cake mix until well combined
  • Press onto a non stick round pan. Make sure you get dough into all the edges.
  • Bake at 350 for 22-25 minutes or until golden brown on top
  • Remove from oven and let cool fully.
  • Take a large wide cup and punch a whole in the middle making a “donut”.
  • Ice with vanilla icing (you can pipe icing with a star tip, or you can spread it on).
  • Drain the canned pears and add pears on top of icing or top with desired toppings.
  • Garnish with some cinnamon sugar or other listed alternatives.
