Iced Margarita

Some find the classic Margarita a bit too strong. For something with a little less kick, you might like to try the Iced Margarita recipe. An Iced Margarita is a refreshing drink that combines the elements of the Classic Margarita in a more diluted version.

  • ounces of silver tequila
  • 1 ¼ ounces of Cointreau triple sec
  • Juice of 1 fresh lime
  • 1 lime sliced in rings
  • 6 small scoops of lime sorbet
  • 150 ml cold lemonade
  • crushed ice


  • If you want to salt the rim of your glass, run a juicy lime wedge around the rim, and dip the rim in coarse Kosher salt.
  • Set aside.
  • Combine the tequila, Cointreau, and fresh lime juice in a jug or a cocktail shaker. Shake or stir until it is combined and chilled.
  • Add a few slices of lime into the glass.
  • Split the sorbet between the two glasses and add some ice in each glass.
  • Split the drink into each glass.
  • Top up each glass with a helping of lemonade.
  • Garnish the rim of the glass with a slice of lime.
