Incredibles Sprinkles Cookie Cups Recipe
Course: Dessert
  • 1 box of French vanilla cake mix
  • 1/3 cup Canola oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • Red Yellow, Orange gel food colouring
  • Mini cupcake pan
  • Mini ice cream scooper
  • 1 container of Yellow sanding sugar
  • Pam baking spray
  • Red Yellow, and Orange cake sprinkles
  • Yellow stars cake sprinkles
  • Black sanding sugar
Frosting Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsalted sweet cream butter softened
  • 2 1/2 cups powder sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3-5 TBSP heavy whipping cream
  • 1 disposable piping bag with a star tip
  1. Preheat oven at 350ยบ F.
  2. Spray the cupcake pan with Pam baking spray, set aside

  3. Using a standing mixer, combine cake mix, vegetable oil, and 2 eggs until combined.
  4. Divide the batter into three separate bowls.
  5. Mix Red food colouring into one bowl
  6. Mix Yellow food colouring into the second bowl
  7. Mix Orange food colouring into the third bowl
  8. Take about 1 TSP of each colour of dough and form into tablespoon sized balls.
  9. Place cookie dough balls into the cupcake pan
  10. Bake for 7 to 8 minutes.
  11. Once the cookies come out of the oven, press down the back of 1 tbsp into the cookies to make an indent for the frosting.
  12. Allow cookies to completely cool.
Frosting Directions
  1. Using a stand mixer, combine all ingredients (Except the sprinkles) and mix on medium speed.
  2. Mix until you see stiffed peaks in your frosting.
  3. Scoop the frosting into the piping bags
  4. Decorating instructions
  5. Pipe the frosting into the indent of the cookies
  6. Sprinkle with the cake sprinkles and black sanding sugar
