We were recently gifted with a “Joy to the World” package from the brand new company, Santa Mails a Letter and we were delighted to review it. With my little ones being 3 ½ and 5 ½ I knew they would just LOVE this personal experience from Santa himself! What a treat to experience the magic of Christmas with a letter from Santa!

Keeping Christmas Magic alive during the pandemic
What a fabulous idea in these uncertain times. Donna and Patrick McCann, the Toronto couple who brought this idea to life, had had this idea for years, but with this felt it was the perfect time to take the plunge! And rightfully so with the pandemic and all the changes that our children are experiencing. Among the choices of letters parents can choose from, one is a “Covid letter” where Santa talks about keeping everyone safe at the North Pole and he also gives children praise for washing their hands and practicing social distancing. He gives them some hope that things will be normal again soon. The other choices are Christian, First Christmas, Canadian, and Older Child.

There are three packages to choose from: Tis the Season, Joy to the World, and Bells Are Ringing ranging in price from $17.95 to $49.95 USD.

User Friendly Experience
The process to order a Santa Mails A Letter package is super user friendly:
Simply visit their website at www.santamailsaletter.com and select your package. Once there, you select your type of letter (covid, Canadian etc.. We selected the standard letter.) Then you enter your child’s information along with two accomplishments and two items on their Christmas wish list along with address information and so on. Click next and voila! You can proof the letter, certificate, envelope with address, etc. to confirm before committing to your purchase. Once you’ve proofed and your satisfied you proceed to payment and anxiously await Santa’s letter to arrive!
When I told the boys that Santa had letters for them in the mail, they were over the moon excited. To see their little faces with such delight. And that Santa was proud of their accomplishments this year. They loved it so much and can’t wait to put their awesome Santa letter ornament on the tree!

Love the Joy To The World package I think my granddaughter would love the magical key because she does not have a chimney this would help her feel more secure that Santa can visit her. With it being an ornament will keep the memories going from year to year,
Hi Sandra, Thank you for your lovely comment. We love the ‘Joy to the World’ package too. As you know many families don’t have a chimney. You are right that the key is magical and that it can be used year after year. Our hope is exactly what you describe – that it will become a treasured keepsake for years to come.

I love that you have a few choices. that’s very helpful with a few tiny humans in the house to plan for. I would probably go with the Bells are Ringing package because I am more of an all or nothing kind of person.
Hi Amber, Thank you for the thoughtful comments. We like the Bells Are Ringing package too.
The daily word for today (Sunday) is Mail. I don’t see a spot in the form to enter it so I hope here is ok!
Yes, you write it here on the blog post, thanks!
Tuesday: Christmas
I would like TheBells are ringing what would be better then having one of Santa’s sledbells.
Hi Juliee,
Yes, the Bells Are Ringing is meant to be from Santa’s sleigh. While the bell is mailed with the personalized letter and other gift items, our idea is that parents will put this aside and then place it under the tree on Christmas morning as one additional gift from Santa. Keeping the magic alive!
Going to be watching out for more Holiday giveaways.
