With a fresh year of possibilities ahead of us, what are your goals? If improving your family’s sleep is on your list of priorities then I’m ready to help! And you can be prepared to save with this exciting group workshop!

I’m offering a unique opportunity for parents with children aged 3-18 months to join me for a group sleep workshop! This workshop will help you if:

  • Your baby needs to nurse, bottle feed or use a soother in order to get to sleep. And of course, whenever that soother falls out, YOU are the one who has to go put it back in. I can show you how to break this habit FAST!
  • You are waking once, twice or three times more each night! You and your baby can and should be sleeping through the night! Your baby needs to learn how to fall asleep WITHOUT your help!
  • Your baby needs to be rocked, bounced, or taken for a car or stroller ride in order to nap. Or (even worse) your child seems to REFUSE to nap—despite the fact that he or she seems tired! I can show you how to make nap-time EASY for everyone!
  • Your OWN lack of sleep is starting to take a toll on you and your family. Studies prove that infant sleep problems are closely linked to postpartum depression. This is a non-drug way to help deal with those “baby blues…” and to enable you to be the kind of parent you dream of being! You don’t have to accept sleep deprivation as normal. It’s not healthy for anyone!
  • Your baby is exhausted and fussy and you’re ready to teach your baby to sleep well! Sleep is a basic necessity of life and not sleeping well makes for a difficult day for both baby and parent! Your baby is learning and growing so fast and healthy sleep is so important to their overall wellbeing! Your baby can and should be sleeping 11-12 hours a night AND taking healthy age-appropriate daytime naps!

I offer private in-home consultations to families all year long and I love being able to coach families through the entire process in-person. But, a private consultation isn’t always easy to fit into a family budget! So here’s an amazing opportunity for your family:

Join me for a GROUP sleep workshop where you’ll learn WHY your child isn’t sleeping well, how to foster healthy sleep habits that will grow with your child and ALL THE STEPS you need to change the existing habits that are not working for your child! You’ll leave this training session empowered to head home and implement the skills and strategies you’ve learned with your child. You’ll know everything you need to teach your child how to sleep 11-12 hours/night AND take age appropriate daytime naps in their own crib!

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED AND TICKETS ARE LIMITED It is MANDATORY that both parents/spouses attend, as it is a team effort (a support person is recommended for single parents). Your fee of $99 admits both parents, or parent and one support person for single parents.

To ensure that all parents are able to remain focused on learning these important steps, I ask that you arrange alternate childcare while you attend this workshop.

Lovebugs Sleep Coaching is an Ottawa based business owned by Michelle McAvoy, a certified Sleep Sense™ consultant on a mission to teach parents how to help their children learn the skills necessary to become great sleepers. Sleep is so important to helping our children grow into their full potential and to become happy and healthy little people.

We all know how hard it is to function when we are sleep deprived, and yet, we don’t bat an eye when our babies are up several times a night. Society has taught us that babies are supposed to cry, and be up all night and that we as parents just have to accept it because that’s what we’ve signed up for.   5. Yes! My husband is leaving for military training in a few months so I would love for my 4 month old to sleep unattached during that time so I can actually move during the day and play with my 4 year old all summer! He only naps if we hold him and needs to be beside me at night when he sleeps.

  6. Improving sleep in our home is very important to us for 2015. We find our health, moods, and eating is much better when we get rest at night! This is important all in all for everyone in our lives.
