Sublime Skinny Sangria

| January 26, 2013 | 8 Comments

For my son’s 14th Birthday, I wanted to prepare a special drink for the women attending the party.

I remembered taking a few recipe cards from Molson at the ShesConnected Conference.  I ended up choosing the Sublime Skinny Sangria.  I was not disappointed since it was quite a success with all of them wanting more than a glass!  I even photocopied the recipe to hand out.  It’s a refreshing drink with a sweet fruity taste and offers lower amount of alcohol than a regular Sangria.  The Molson Canadian Sublime only has 3% alcohol plus you add 6 oz. of red wine to a recipe that makes 4 servings.  It has approximately 170 calories per 6 oz (180ml) serving.

Molson Canadian 67 Sublime with fresh blueberry lemonade, red wine and fresh fruits.

I used a pitcher to mix the ingredients:
  1. 3 oz. (90ml) lemonade
  2. 3 oz. bleuberry juice
  3. 6 oz. red wine
  4. 1/4 cup each sliced grapes, lemons, lime and oranges
Stir all ingredients.  Before serving, add a bottle of Molson Canadian 67 Sublime, and pour into a wine glass or beer glass with ice and make sure the fruits are spread out in each glass. Enjoy!
