Style Nails in Minutes with Jamberry Nails Nail Wraps – Review and Giveaway ~ CAN 08/24

Jamberry Nails LogoManicures are always fun to get, but being a mom to 3 kids, two of them toddlers, doesn’t give my hands a fighting chance of looking good a few days after having my nails done. I am also rough on my hands, so manis don’t stand a fighting chance very long on my nails. When Teela Boivin, an Independent Consultant for Jamberry Nails asked if I would like to review their nail wraps, I jumped at the chance to see if this product would keep my nail looking cute and stylish after a week of wearing them.

Jamberry Nails was created by three sisters who wanted to find a way to dress up their nails in a more cost effective way after an expensive manicure experience. Since they each had their own unique sense of style, they wanted also wanted a product that could come in many prints and patterns to reflect their tastes that would not chip or flake off. They came up with their Jamberry Nail wraps in 2010 that offers over 200 different designs so anyone can express themselves on their nails. These nail wraps are also non-toxic, so they are safe for use a child’s young nails.

Teela was gracious enough to pop by my home to educate me about Jamberry Nails nail wraps and to do manis on myself and my kids. Here is the complete package she used to transform my hands from meh to marvelous. This kit includes the following items:
• Jamberry Nails Application Kit
• Jamberry Nails Mimi Nail Heater

She also brought plenty of Jamberry Nails nail wrap sheets for us to choose from for our manis.

Teela had a most enthusiastic model in my younger daughter. After selecting the Tropical Mirage design from the Mommy & Me Collection, Teela applied the nail wraps on my daughter’s finger nails.

The instructions for applying these nail wraps seemed very simple. Jamberry Nails also offers a step-by-step video to further help you apply their nail wraps online so you can have a visual of what to do and to troubleshoot.

Here is the end result of my daughter’s first manicure! She loved how her nails turned out, and can’t wait to have another set put on again.

My son could not be left out of the action, and he got his thumb nails done with a cute design that I would want for myself! He chose the Raining Cats and & Dogs design.

It was then my turn to try to apply the nail wraps for myself. I chose the Daydream design for most of my nails with the Black & White Chevron design for an accent nail on my ring fingers. I was a bit clumsy, but they were easy to affix to my nails. Here is the end result! I love them! They were simple and chic. I love the accent nail as it add a bit of glam to my nails.

Teela also gave me these mini manicure kits for my kids. They are perfect as I feel a though I am ALWAYS trimming their nails because they grow so fast.

After Teela left, the real challenge began. I was very curious as to how Jamberry Nails would hold up with on my nails. It was a rough week for my nails. I did some gardening, I had to clean my grill off for Canada Day to entertain some of my friends. Of course, there are also all of the routine chores parents have like scrubbing dishes, baths, and playing with goopy things with the kids. I really put my hands through the wringer! I was really surprised by how well these nails wraps stayed on my hands through it all! Cleaning the grill was at about the halfway mark of the test week, and they did sustain some damage, but not as much as I thought they would. They became scuffed off at the tips, and some of the dirt got in at the sides, but they were easy to clean, and I was able to adhere them well enough so they looked as though they had never seen the grill.

Here is the Day 1 versus the Day 10 result of this test. I know I was only to test seven days, but I liked them so much that I kept them on for a few days.

Jamberry Nails nail wraps are also easy to remove from your nails. There are 3 ways you can remove them. You can:
• Use the Nail Heater to warm up the adhesive, then slowly peel them off from edge to edge
• Soak your nails in nail polish remover and peel them as mentioned above; or
• Use the organic method of soaking them in warm coconut oil and carefully remove them from your nails.

This step was also very easy to follow, and my nails were back to their normal selves. My nails looked great and did not feel weakened by having the wraps on them for over a week.

Overall, I really liked Jamberry Nails nail wraps as an alternative to getting a manicure. They are easy to apply and remove, not as costly as a manicure at a nail salon, can stay on for a while under a lot of harsh conditions, and can be done in the comfort of your own home, so you can change them or try out different Jamberry Nails designs whenever you want. I will be trying the Darkest Black design with the Black & White Chevron design as an accent nail next, and I will want to order more of their designs in the future!
