Snowtime Anytime Inflatable Snow Forts and Indoor Snowballs #Review and #Giveaway #HolidayGiftGuide ~ CAN 12/15

| November 25, 2013 | 65 Comments

On Tuesdays we run a ‘preschool’. A friend of mine and her home daycare meet up with me and my homeday care and we run a preschool program for our little ones. When I received ‘Snowtime anytime’  inflatable indoor snow fort  and indoor snowballs from Mastermind Toys, I knew we had fun lesson coming up.

The group consists of four 3 year olds, one two-year old and two one year olds.  We had a lesson plan designed all focused on winter and snow. We began by taking the preschoolers to the table to do their worksheets and craft activity. We talked about snow, seasons, igloos and cold. We read a story about a snowman and sung songs about winter and snow.  We discuss winter activities all morning. The kids were pumped to end out lesson with an indoor snow ball fight.

The kids loved the soft fluffy snowballs. We had 40 of them so they all had plenty to share. They adored the chance to get to throw something in the house, and I adored that they were soft enough not to break or hurt anyone. They are good quality, soft and dense. the cotton did not break apart and there were not ‘white fluffies’ all over my house.

The older children began playing games with the snowballs and making it creative. The little ones just loved carrying them and touch them. The snow balls were a big hit.

The snow-fort was durable and  it was a good size. If our kids were a little older they would have appreciated the for a bit more. They seemed to simply enjoy running around and throwing ‘snow balls’ at each other. I feel that older kids would have used the fort to their advantage rather than simply ignoring it.

This toy was a great addition to our preschool activities and to our  lives. They had a blast and everyone enjoyed the playtime.

I would recommend this toy. It was fun, durable, good quality and very affordable ($39.95 for the snow fort and $19.95 for the bin of snowballs). Thank you Mastermind Toys!

Disclosure:  I received the above mentioned products to sample.  All opinions are honest and my own.
