Sleep Well for the Holidays with Cloud b Toys! #Giveaway #HolidayGiftGuide ~ CAN 12/16

Bedtime can be tough some nights at my house. The kids are either overtired because of a long school day, or are too excited from a fun family day or movie night. They have plenty of snuggle toys, but some nights, they are not even enough to get them to go to sleep. Cloud b Toys wanted my family to review three toys to see if they would be able to help our kids sleep well at night.

We received the following toys for our kids to play with:

Story time can be any time with Storytime Huxley Bear™! Huxley has five bedtime favourite stories ready to go when a child is having a bit of trouble sleeping.

Children are able to choose which story they would like to drift off to sleep to with the clever buttons hidden in his paws. Huxley also comes with a storybook so they can follow along with Huxley he shares as he with the stories (Huxley’s voice and stories are in English only). Huxley reads the following stories:

  • The Tortoise and the Hare
  • Goldilocks and the three Bears
  • Beauty and the Beast
  • The Ugly Duckling
  • Three Billy Goat’s Gruff

Sweet Dreamz On the Go Grey Owl™ functions as an all-in-one baby soother to help relax babies who are fussy or tired. It has a built-in nightlight and plays calming sounds and songs.

Parents and older children are able to select the sound or music they would like to hear, as well as the volume (Hooray!) with the simple push of the buttons on this toy. Another great feature is that it is set to a timer to shut off the light and the sound after a pre-programmed length of time. Finally, the heart-shaped clip makes this toy easy to attach to a car seat or a stroller. This makes it a great toys for your child to enjoy just about anywhere.

Reptiles have become cuddlier for kids with Charley the Chameleon™. He is a snuggly toy that helps get kids ready for sleep with his multi-sensory capabilities.

Charley lights up with rainbow lights that can be set to cycle fast, slow, or stay on one colour. He also plays rainforest noises and tropical tunes to put kids at ease to fall asleep. The best thing about having Charley is that he is plush, so he is great to cuddle with while being lulled to sleep.

My kids had us set up a playtime sleepover in the middle of our living room to play with their new sleepy time friends. They set the toys up to listen to Huxley tell us stories while they snuggled. Huxley was very friendly and it was easy to follow along with Huxley with our storybook.ottawa-mommy-club-cloud-b-toys-playtime-collage-photo

At bedtime, our kids could not wait to fall asleep with these toys. It was fun to see all of the colours and sounds Charley played for the kids, and they had a blast listening to all of the sounds and melodies Sweet Dreamz On the Go Grey Owl shared. Since we have had this terrific trio of toys, they take turns falling asleep with them. My other half and I have also heard the toys go off in the middle of the night when the kids have awoken and used them to fall back asleep on their own.

Our kids have a lot of fun playing and falling asleep with these group of toys from Cloud b Toys! It is great to know that they have these toys with them that they trust to help comfort them at night. The sounds these three toys play are different, but they each help our kids become more relaxed when in their beds. The lights Sweet Dreamz On the Go Grey™ and Charley the Chameleon™ give off help to give a sense of security when they may become a bit scared of the dark.  They have become our kids’ best friends at nighttime, helping them (and us indirectly) to get a good night’s sleep.

  9. While they are all cute, and we are drawn to Charley because we used to have a cat with the same name, my daughter would love the Huxley best because he can read stories. She can’t read yet, while her big sister can, so sometimes she gets frustrated that her sister can read herself a little story if she’s having trouble sleeping, whereas she cannot. She would be so happy to have this bear to read a story to her (after we’ve read her bedtime story of course!).
