Pop Fun into the Holidays with Poppit!

My other half loves to bake. The kids love being with him in the kitchen to help him bake up a storm and create some sweet treats for the family to enjoy. They are full of smiles when adding ingredients to a delicious dessert and watching it bake in the oven. Poppit Canada asked my family to review their Pop ‘N’ Play Display Bakery to see if it could pop some fun into playtime by making fun food-like figures and set up a cute bakery!

My kids were excited to roll up their sleeves so they could not wait to start creating some delicious-looking baked goods. I was happy that there were so many different pieces within this set so the both of them would be able to “bake” at the same time without having to wait to use a tool while playing.

It was also fun to use all four colours this kit provides little bakers to put together all kinds of treat-like creations.

After going over the instructions, my kids found it easy to make cakes, pies, and other fun bakery delights. They enjoyed rolling, pressing it into the mold, then popping the clay out of the Poppit Popper to start to build their food-like characters. The sprinkles, GLitter Deco Pen, and other accessories were fun ways to finish off their creations!

Once they had created a few cute pieces, we placed them in the four different display cases to showcase their masterpieces. Our favourites to use were the large display case and the cake display tray. Each of the display cases gave our creations a different look and we had fun trying new ways to show off their figurines.

The one issue I had with this set is that there is no case to house all of the pieces after the bakery has closed for the day. The clay has four containers to help keep them moisturized, but there are so many other pieces that are loose. We use the box the set came in to store our pop-up bakery shop, but it would be nicer if there was a case to properly put every away.

Overall, my kids loved whipping up fun and yummy looking creations with the Poppit Pop ‘N’ Play Display Bakery. This set is easy to use, there are enough pieces for more than one child to use at the same time to play together, and the display boxes allow for various options to showcase their creations. This kit popped a lot of fun into their playtime and their creativity.
