   Picture Keeper

I take a lot of pictures. I love to capture the big events and the small moments, the milestones and the every day. I love looking back at the pictures and so do my kids. The difference today is that most of my pictures are on the computer whereas when I was growing up we had albums to flip through. There’s nothing wrong with looking at pictures on a screen, but it doesn’t feel as permanent as a printed photo in your hands. And if something were to happen to the computer and I lost all my pictures? I would be devastated.

When I was given the opportunity to review the Picture Keeper, I jumped at the chance. Picture Keeper backs up all your photos so you won’t ever lose them. And it is super easy to use, just like they say: Simply plug & save! It’s true – take the Picture Keeper out of the box, plug it into your computer, and it will find your pictures and back them up. You can do this as often as you’d like – the Picture Keeper doesn’t create duplicates, it just picks up where it left off and the software is so user-friendly. It’s easy to tell how much more space there is on the Picture Keeper and manage the pictures stored there. It works with all types of computers and operating systems, digital picture frames and photo kiosks.

This really is a great product to ensure your digital pictures are backed up and your memories are safe. There are 4 different models to choose from:

The PK4 that holds up to 4,000 pictures.

The PK9 that holds up to 8,000 pictures.

The PK16 that holds up to 16,000 pictures.

And the PK Pro that holds up to 250,000 pictures.

Of course these are estimated numbers of pictures based on a size of 1MB per picture, but you can see that a lot of pictures can be stored on the Picture Keeper.

You can see the Picture Keeper hard at work gathering all my pictures.
