Ottawa Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2014

| September 24, 2013 | 2 Comments

By far, one of the most inspiring weekends.

As someone who is inundated with boys at home, and boys stuff, to be able to get out and indulge in my inner girl, this definitely takes the cake.

From opening night onwards, the Hotel Hilton in Gatineau was the place to see and be seen. The clothes were spectacular, the girls were poised, the music was pumping. Up and down the catwalk strutted different designers creations, some even with theatrics!

The coolest part of the weekend, besides the celebrity-watching (which I will get to later), was the Kania Couture ( @kaniacouture ), wow. The music and moves were awesome! The clothes were amazing. Alfred Marcel showed up with their new collection, as well as many others.

Now to the celeb-watching. Max Keeping, Jim Watson, Lianne Laing, Mathieu Fleury, Jeff Hopper, Carol-Anne Meehan, Joanne Schnurr, Julie Beun (Ottawa Citizen), Janet Wilson (Ottawa Citizen), Lois Lee (Daytime Ottawa), @20YS, among many others!

It gave me ideas and outfits to strive for, being an average mom, there’s no way I can afford it all, but there’s always Christmas!

Ciao for now.
