| December 3, 2013 | 3 Comments

It was a snowy Monday night, the kids were running around after dinner, burning off their evening energy. As the chaos in the house built, we heard a knock at the door. We ran to the front window, peeking out to see who is gracing us with a visit. We were all excited because to whom to our twinkling eyes should appear but a the jolly man himself ready to come in to visit US!

SANTA CLAUS!

My girls were shocked! How could he find time to come visit us with everything he had to do at the north pole? They were acting as if their was a celebrity in our presence. It was so fun!

reading stories

Santa came right into to our living room and asked if he could read us some Christmas stories.  He had brought two of his favorites, ‘The Grinch who stole Christmas’ and ‘The Night Before Christmas’. He sat with my two three year old daughters, one year old son and my best friends 3 year old daughter. He graciously read them his two stories. He even read two more of our stories after that since my daughters could not fathom him leaving. He sang Christmas songs with them and talked about what they wanted for Christmas. He simply filled our home with Christmas magic.

Our visit with Santa was beautiful. The moment was magical for the kids. They were blown away with Santa’s presence in their own house.

Andrew Makus of ‘Santa services and artistic creations’ ( http://ottawaboyentertainment.wordpress.com) made a very jolly and believable Santa. He had a great rapport with the kids. He was friendly and inviting for the children, they approached him easily and enjoyed his conversation. He made a great Santa.

Not only did he provide us with a wonderful visit with Santa but he gave us a gift of his artistic talents. He gave us a canvas tote with a painted picture of ‘Frosty the Snowman’ on it.

Our Santa experience was a fantastic one. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to infuse some Christmas magic into their home!

We were very lucky to be the recipients of a visit from Santa this past weekend. My son (3 1/2) and his friend (4 1/2) were thrilled beyond belief to greet Santa at the door! After introductions were made and some budding questions answered, Santa proceeded to read “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas” to the amusement of 6 little kids and a few parents as well We all sang songs and had a few pictures taken with Santa before he had to leave. Andrew was very professional, and “Jolly” which helped us all believe in the Christmas Spirit 🙂
