On July 12th, a popular Gatineau Movie Chain Ciné-Starz opened at the Orléans Town Centre on 250 Centrum Blvd.  The theatre is replacing the Empire Theatre and Mayfair Orléans.

Bruce Gurberg, owner of Ciné-Starz in Gatineau leased the movie theatre, and has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars into renovating the older theatre with added 3D capabilities, new digital projection screens,  upgraded seating, and new carpeting.  They are presently offering 4 movies per day and using 3 screens.  They plan on expanding to 6 screens by the end of the summer.

Ciné-Starz will be showing first-class movies in French and English that will be many weeks old in order to offer discounted price.  For more information, please visit their website.
